St. Patrick's Day Math Freebie - Kindergarten and 1st Grade!

Hey everyone!

St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner so, I made this fun math freebie for the occasion!

It is aligned to the following kindergarten common core standard:

"CCSS.Math.Content.K.NBT.A.1 Compose and decompose numbers from 11 to 19 into ten ones and some further ones, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each composition or decomposition by a drawing or equation (such as 18 = 10 + 8); understand that these numbers are composed of ten ones and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones."

Women's History Month Social Studies - History for Kindergarten - Third Grade!

Hey everyone!

I have just finished a new unit on Women's History Month! It was a big project (98 pages!) but a really fulfilling one.

It includes a non fiction story to introduce important women to young learners in a simple and comprehensive way. It also contains graphic organizers, common core worksheets , vocabulary cards for key words in the (e-)book and craftivities for all the women mentioned in the story! The craftivities help the children practice writing, remember and better comprehend the important achievements of these women.

The story is in color while the crafts' templates and worksheets are in black and white.

You can print the (e-)book or use with your laptop or projector in class or at home.
